Too bad in Feb that you didn't do the 2 browser trick for the personal AA cards.
I would pick one of the Chase cards. (either Sapphire Preferred or BA Visa). I haven't checked that thread lately, but one can go through the process of buying a BA refundable ticket and you will get the card with 50K + 50K in 2nd year. You would have to pay 2 times $75 annual fee to get the 100K but to me, that is the better one to get.
I agree with the poster up thread that 30K DL card is low for signup bonus.
What credit bureaus did the first churn pull? AMEX usually pulls Experian and sometimes Chase does too. The US Airways card (Barclay's) usually pull Transunion. 40K is not too bad. You could redeem with their CC for 2 domestic saver awards (20K/ticket) or be a good ways to 55K off peak (very limited offpeak Biz) redemption to Europe in the winter months. (Jan/Feb). West Coast to Spain or Italy in Jan/Feb is decent value and the weather is more mild than Northern Europe.
If your credit file is fairly well established and/or thick, you are likely to get approvals. Otherwise, YMMV.

This time around I was able to get the British Airways card you mentioned above - I've never paid an annual fee for a card but 50k+50k is worth the $150 in fees. Also my credit report will get a boost since I'll hold the card for at least two years.
Next, I also got the Citi Thank You Premier cards (ironically enough by using the 2 browser trick) with 100k after $5k in spend.
Finally, I was also approved for the US Air card.
I had to call reconsideration for all but Citi has always been the easiest for me.
Unless something phenomenal comes out in the next few weeks (from Amex or BoA) I think I'm done with cards for the next 3-4 months.
