Churnable Credit Cards

Recently I searched through different threads and heard different scenarios about churnable credit cards.

For example, I heard different people said BOA credit cards are churnable after a few months. Also heard people churned on US Airways and Citi AAdvantage although the wait time is much longer (6 months and 18 months respectively).

Just wonder if we can start this thread to have everyone chip in on your recent experience with churning a card so we have better ideas on which card can be churned or how long is the wait time.

To start off, I have my Citi AA Visa and AE for almost two years, I am about to churn on them again with the two browsers trick, will report if there's any good news. (currently I still have the Visa open and the AE closed, let's see if anyone of them will get rejected).

Thanks for chipping in, have a great day

i do not think that putting this kind of information in a public place is a good idea if we want any of the mentioned cards to remain churnable.

I agree with you aviator8. That's a concern I have when starting this thread but I would like to see what you all think. Maybe I won't respond to this but anyone who has experience churning BOA or the US Airways or Citi AA cards, can you please PM me? I have some questions regarding on the process.

Thank you very much for all the time and help. Very much appreciated it. Have a wonderful day

This information is very specifically explained in the threads dedicated to each of those cards. The only question is whether someone wants to collate and maintain it.

You do have a valid point, that the information is out there, but it has to be searched for. My thought is that if it is laid out in one place and is easy to find. Then it is also easier for the CC companies to gauge the interest (based on the the thread popularity and activity) and scope of the issue and may lead to them changing things to be even less favorable for this type of thing. I can see the argument either way though.

Thanks for the response. That's also my original intent since I have spent quite some time scanning over the threads of credit cards I am interested to find this specific information. Hence a thought on opening this thread to gather everyone's experience and scenarios in one centralized location.

But I also agree with aviator8 that this may catch attention and end up destroying opportunities to churn on certain credit cards. I will post my question in individual thread instead. But thanks for the comments as this shows interest and hopefully we may have a better solution for this.

Thanks and enjoy churning
