concierge providers
OK so I was bored with my work’s VPN down and doing some research on Concierge services and realized I had access to quite a few, and was curious who the provides were and who had web access.
Here is what I found, and some limited experiences those I have tried:
Amex Platinum uses Circles
Phone and email don’t think they have a request site.
(generally positive experience, a handful of emails, has saved me a couple hours on the phone, mostly restaurant reservations for larger group size) Seemed to have gotten better although there are stories out there about lots of layoff and services declines.
Credit Union Visa used something called Card Enhancements Concierge out of San Francisco
Web site looks very dated:
www.cardenhancementsconcierge.com
(yet to try)
same site though for Canadian Mastercard holders:
http:// www.mastercardconcierge.com/
best I can tell both are handled by a small firm: Tactical TeleSolutions
World Elite Mastercard uses VIP desk.
http://concierge.mastercard.com/sign_in.aspx
(never tried)
Discover card now has Concierge via Les Concierge:

(have not used Les Concierge since before MBNA was bought by BofA, mixed reviews back then but too old to be relevant)
Visa Signature used to use till about a year or so ago: Allianz, run out of Richmond, VA, formally Mondial, formally World Access. The collect number changed to Chicago recently and I can’t tell who is doing it for them. Maybe they took it in house.
https://visasignatureconcierge.com
(few simple requests, efficient not always as detailed responses
Current provider AXA Assistance
Interesting thread here on the various concierge services:

Any recent experiences or comparisons?
