Question about card upgrade
If you upgrade a card account, does it still keep the original open date?

The answer varies by card issuer, and based on the specific pair of cards.

asking if the card number will stay the same is a pretty good indication that the original open date will be kept.

thanks guys. I have an old platinum card from BoA, my first card, was wondering if I could get them to upgrade it. though I don't want to lose the account opening date.
