Priority Pass Panama
How I am able to get a priority pass while living in panama where there are no entry fees. I have HSBC but they charge $27 each time. The national airline is COPA which is partly owned by Continental so access to those lounges would be ideal as well meaning NO US financial institution.

I cannot answer your question, but I can clarify something:
CO is no longer a part owner of COPA. However, COPA uses the same FF program (and will continue in 2012 after the CO and United programs are combined). If you have GOLD or higher status, you can use the lounges owned by COPA or CO/UNITED when on an international intinerary.
NOTE: you cannot use the lounge for US domestic parts of the itinerary. For example, if you had a PTY-IAD-ORD itinerary, you would have access to the United Club at IAD, but not at ORD.
