Please help me answer this question [when do OnePass credit card miles post?]
I have received my Continental OnePass Credit card from chase. Made a first purchase and the first bill printed on August 5,2011 stating that 30,000 bonus miles will be transferred to Continental OnePass account. I just checked and no miles posted! How long does it take for my 30,000 chase bonus miles to show up in Continental One Pass after the bill printed on august 5 Friday nite. Do they not update on weekends?? I thought the transfer is instant and not 6-8 weeks like they say. Thank you,

2) Would make it easier to read it if it wasn't massive and bold.
3) Its totally a YMMV as I have had both. I have had 50K CO miles post within a week of the account closing but have also had to wait about 8 weeks for 30K CO miles to post to my account.

And don't need the miles so badly that you've got to bold your entire post and worry about the miles posting over the weekend.
My Chase OnePass miles posted several days after the statement closed. I was happy with that, since as you acknowledge, the T&Cs give Chase/CO six to eight weeks to get the miles posted. There are a number of transactions that have to happen. First, a purchase has to occur and be posted to your account. Not a big deal, but it might take a day or so to clear fully. Then, Chase has to inform CO you've complied with the terms of the offer. And then, CO has to post the miles.
None of that has to be instantaneous. Or, if you're lucky, it could happen in lock step progression in the matter of hours. I wouldn't make plans around "instantaneous."

It is not an instant transfer. It takes anywhere from a week to a few weeks for the miles posted in CO account, not to mention there is a weekend after your statement close.
