Available credit

Hey everyone. I did a quick search and couldn't find another thread on this.

I just tried to transfer some of my available credit line from one Citi card to another and the CSR said that the new credit card laws prohibit it. Is that indeed the case or are they full of it?

Are you trying to transfer from a business card to a personal or vice versa?

citi should let you transfer from one card to another as long as it's not a co-brand and personal to personal or business to business. if the CS claim they can't, just hang up and call again.
