Length of stay at a current address is considered on your new card application, right?
Would you apply for a new credit card using the old address when you know you are moving to a new address shortly?
Or does it really matter?

If I were in your shoes, I would apply it now. It takes a few months for credit bureaus to update your new address information, so you will need to send proofs of addresses to credit card companies if you're going to use new address in your applications.

Much easier to do an address change on an existing account!
