BOA WorldPoints Compensation Question

Hello everyone, I had a BOA Golf Digest MC. The Golf Digest Program was discontinued in June, 2010 and my card was converted to a BOA WorldPoints MC. I was told I had to redeem all available points by June 30, 2010 or they would be forfeited. As such, I redeemed the points in early May for a sand wedge. I still have not received the product and after multiple calls and many hours on the phone with BOA I don't know what to do. I have since purchase another wedge, and would really just like to recover the points spent on the item. In my most recent call, I was told the item is back-ordered (but for 5 months? This item can be purchased in most golf or sporting goods stores). I was told the points most likely can't be refunded as the program is different, which is understandable but both programs accrued points at the rate of 1/$1 spent. Do you think it's unreasonable to recover the points or is there another form of compensation I should ask for? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
