PP Elite World or World Elite?

My PP elite card says World Elite on the front. When I call World Elite concierge as well as Citi, both said it is a World card only.

Very confused.

I believe all of the below exist:

Premierpass World
Premierpass Elite World
Premierpass World Elite
Premierpass Elite World Elite

I have a Citi World Elite AA Card from $100K spend in a year. I would guess the rules are similar for getting a World Elite Premier Pass.

Does your card say "World" immediately above the mastercard logo on the bottom right or does it say "World Elite" in that order at some point on the card?

There are two levels of cards in the World category that are authorised by MasterCard:

World
World Elite

The exact benefits and credit criteria are determined by the issuing bank. But all World products must have a rewards programs, certain travel insurances, a concierge service, and some type of lounge access (this is waived for the Citi AAdvantage World Elite card due to the relationship with AA).

Now, I'm not familiar with Priority Pass and not sure if you are talking about the names here. But the MasterCard will be either World or World Elite

My understanding is that these requirements apply only to Mastercard World Elite products, but I cannot now recall where I read it.

The confusion here seems to be only that Mastercard chose the same modifier (Elite) that Citi was already using in an overlapping context.

The confusion between Premier Pass, Priority Pass and Priority Club probably does not exist outside of Flytertalk .

But that's what makes Flyertalk so special!
