Connectmiles award chart upgrade?

I used to see Connectmiles awards from Souther South America to South Asia for 82,5k one way in business class, as the award chart shows us here: https://www.copaair.com/assets/stara...n-jan-2025.pdf

Today I searched GRU-ADD-SIN and it got me a result of 200k miles for the same award. Anyone notest raise differenc on other routes too?

Is the 200,000 a non-saver type fare (ie "full fare" award)?

No, it is a saver type fare.

Brazilian blog Passageiro de Primeira got in touch with Connectmiles and they confirmed the award chart changes. They have removed the old award tables from their website and will be replacing them with the new values.

Unfortunetely, this sweet spot is dead.

Already confirmed changes:

Southern South America to South of Japan
  • Y: from 55.000 to 100.000 miles
  • C: from 85.000 to 200.000 miles
Southern South America to North Asia
  • Y: from 50.000 to 100.000 miles
  • C: from 85.000 to 200.000 miles
Southern South America to South Asia
  • Y: from 50.000 to 100.000 miles
  • C: from 82.500 to 200.000 miles
Southern South America to Central Asia
  • Y: from 60.000 to 100.000 miles
  • C: from 97.500 to 200.000 miles

That's too bad. It seems like Copa more than doubled the redemption value. Guess I will direct partner earning mileage opportunities to other *A airlines. This is such a major devaluation of miles.

Always but always when they make a 100% extra bonus miles buy offer, a big devaluation comes.

Anyone else see errors in the amount of miles today compared to yesterday? Post devaluation. Pty-PUJ is 15000 for economy when should still be 7500.

Still a disaster. Availability not the same as Sunday. Call center long waits even after saying estimated wait time is 10 minutes. 1st agent today put me back in the queue and 2nd agent after asking to talk to a supervisor and her saying there are no English speaking supervisors until tomorrow morning and I said to transfer me to a Spanish supervisor just puts me back in the queue. She tells me no economy saver availability and I tell her there is for 67500 which she sees but says it's not really available but I book it online. Website complaint form not submitting. Very disappointed in the update which happens but more disappointed in how the failed update is being handled.
