Fare code on Copa award booking?

I'm looking into the fare code of award booking on Copa using UA miles and got curious.
First of all, most *A partner economy tickets are booked into "X" fare class, while for Copa there's both "G" and "X" for economy, which is strange to me.
For the award tickets booked on Copa, "G" is standard economy award and "X" is saver economy award, but this seems to be the opposite on United. For example, for SFO-PTY, a saver (20K miles) or everyday (40K miles) award ticket shows "G" class, whereas a dynamically-priced one (with UA connection, 80K miles) shows "X" class. Anyone knows why that's the case?

Do you mean booking Copa via Copa Miles, "G" is the standard economy award?

I have the same question, if I booking Copa via UA miles, if it shows "G" on UA website, can I add other *A to get the mileage?
