Star Alliance Gold
Hi guys,
Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this question.
I am currently Air NZ Silver status, flying this week which will take me to Gold status.
I have flights with Copa in December, LAX to BOG return. When I booked my tickets it is showing me as silver (obviously) however by the time I fly, I will be Gold.
Just wondering if my star alliance Gold benefits will apply on day of flight?

Programs: Mucci. And BA Silver previous awards - Gold 13, Silver 7, Bronze 4.

Not sure how well that works on Copa, but on BA when it doesnt you can use some of the other OW alliance MMB functions to update and fix bookings. Is that also possible between *A airlines?
