Name match for MilagePlus number
I booked a Copa ticket on 100% Copa metal via the Chase travel portal. On the Chase portal it had name name as First Middle Last, however when I review the reservation on the Copa portal it lists FirstMiddle Last. In other words my first name is a combination of my first and last name. This may have made it impossible for me to add my United MilagePlus number, see attached screenshot. I tried to call Copa, and was told since I booked through a third party it would be $50 for a name change for every 3 characters, my middle name is between 4 and 6 characters, so I would have to pay for two name changes. I tried calling Chase Travel and they told me to call Copa and that they could not do anything.
Any recommendations? I am also concerned my TSA Pre number might not work.

Not on CM, but I once had a name discrepancy on a ticket (UA, leaving from PTY), and the agent on the phone said that clearing it would take several days to "re-ticket" the reservation. She assured me it would be much easier just to clear it up at the check in desk. The result was that I couldn't check-in on line, but all it took was an extra minute or two of the agent on the computer at check-in and everything got restored (incl. TSA Pre and correct FF program). This had to be repeated on the return trip, btw.
So my recommendation would be to go extra early to the CM check-in desk, and bring every document you can to verify and justify your name and reservation and be prepared to explain everything you need. I don't think you'll have any problem getting on the plane, but getting CM to use your correct frequent flyer and known traveler numbers on the reservation could be problematic, especially if checking in outside of the USA or PTY.
