Current COPA Mask Policy

Flying from IAD through PTY to VVI in May. Looks like all of the flights are "mask optional", is this what everyone is finding on actual flights?

Thanks!

Very few people wearing masks. Might depend on the country you are flying to/from. Most recent was when Colombia brought back in their mask rule, it seemed that Copa mandated masks for a couple of days to Colombia, but it was gone pretty quickly (unsure if you needed one back from Colombia at the time, as the rule was removed before the flight back)

I just flew on Copa a couple of days ago. Almost no one wore a mask, and did not see it enforced.

Perfect. Thanks all!

As an aside, I make this trip every year and normally book through COPA as they are usually a lot cheaper than United. The exact opposite this year, COPA tickets R/T were over $800 more than United. But, it's a bit of a chore to get seat assignments, took three calls to COPA to get every flight locked in and shown in the system. Wasn't willing to wait for airport seat assignment, as our group has had their business class seats disappear on three different occasions from VVI - PTY.
