What lounge do COPA use at GRU?

last time I flew out of T-3 with UA and had the pleasure of using the new star alliance lounge.
in three weeks, I'm flying out with COPA to PTY - what options do I have (traveling C)?

As far as I know, you'll be allowed to use Star Alliance Lounge again at T3, even if Copa is located at another terminal (I don't remember its terminal).

http://www.aeroportoguarulhos.net/en/guarulhos-airlines says Copa is in Terminal 2. IF you can go through security and passport control at T3, and then make your way airside to T2, you might be able to use the aforementioned lounge. We've gone between T1 and T2 airside, but not T3 to T2.

Yaa... I'm like you. Never done T-3 to T-2. No where could I find information about that. I assume that since CM flies small aircrafts and light on elites, they can use TAM's lounge at T-1 (the one next to the old rusty UA one...). Just a guess...

Small aircraft? Boeing 738s.

CM has no relationship with JJ as far as I know (Copa in the Star Alliance, TAM in OneWorld), so why could you use the JJ lounge? No harm in asking. Or contact Copa in advance. You're in the U.S., so 1 800 FLY COPA FREE (359 2672). Copa has a code share agreement with Gol, which has a lounge in T2 (we used when flying Delta).

You are right. My bad. Forgot TAM is now OW - I remember using their lounge a few years back when they were still star alliance.

My phone experience with COPA has not been so good. I can barely understand them.

I guess I'll just wait and see...

T1 is now exclusively domestic. Copa uses T2 and you can use either "Smiles" contracted lounge if you are flying biz, or Star Alliance lounge in T3, if you are Star Gold (or flying biz, of course). It takes aprox 15 min to get to T3 from T2 (30 min total, so manage your time...), you just need to clear security at T2 and turn left to a long walkway to T3.

Thanks!
Is the connector (15 minutes) airside or before security and passport control?
Tried to find any kind of reference online but nothing...

Connector is airside.

After Security screening and Passaport Control.

If you want to go from T2 to T3 through public area, you can also do it easily.
