But, I'm 18/18 so far on upgrades under the ConnectMiles program, so it doesn't seem to be an issue. Sometimes, I've gotten upgrade notice 72 hrs in advance (I've got Platinum status), but other times it's barely over 24 hrs. I haven't figured out yet how Copa manages this inventory. |
Changing FF number loophole might be closed. Unable to change it in profile upon boarding the flight. Maybe it was left too late being less than 1 hour before departure on the return leg

Copa Upgrade List
If i recall correctly, isn't there a way to see how your postioned on CM's upgrade list. IIRC its after you check in if you have not cleared before. Just curious as I haven't had to use it in awhile :)

EDIT: So today, out of the blue, my wife and my Copa elite cards showed up in the mail (2/17 expiration). So I guess "just waiting" was the right strategy. :) If you have an actual physical card, I assume the United Club agents can recognize your Copa status and let you into the lounge? |

just about earning redemption on copa-as a plat i get 75% bonus on copa flights-does this apply when on other star alliance carriers?
