I guess this will not surprise anybody,

Mid-2012 is a ways out. Hopefully the new CO/UA keeps the partnership that CO currently has until it actually gets there.

Ooops, I found the answer to my question above in the Star Alliance Forum: TACA/Avianca are joining *A also.
