Just an observation...
I noticed that CO's the only airline who didn't start "fee trends" - rather, CO has been a follower all the way. Case in point:
-SW began the bag fee craze by charging for the 3rd bag in January/February 2008
-United began the domestic $25 2nd bag fee last Feb/March
-American began the 1st domestic $15 bag fee last May
-Delta began the international $50 2nd bag fee in June/July
-US began charging for drinks earlier this year (of course, nobody followed, thank heavens)
-US raised the 1st/2nd bag fees from $15/$25 to $20/$30 in July, then raised once again to $25/35 in August...crazy!
Where's CO in this? Of course, I'm not aware of who began change fees, pet fees, UM, etc but from what I know, it seems like CO never actually began a "fee trend." Whaddya think?

That isn't the direction CO wants to go at all, so they wouldn't likely WANT to lead it.
