Last Saturday i was flying J DUB-EWR. When i checked in around 9am for flight 127 i was told there would be a 4+ hour delay. I asked what my options were and the check agent asked if i wouldn't mind waiting a second for the 'International concierge' to come down and talk to me. About 30 seconds later a very nice lady (cant remember her name) came up to me and told me i could go home or stay here and she would call my phone when the plane arrives. She also handed me an envelope full of goodies which included: two 5 euro calling cards, a 10% disount a future continental purchase, drink/head phones coupons and a 15euro voucher for food in dublin airport.
So, i went home and after a few hours they called me and said i should head to the airport now. I went up to the desk and saw the Concierege again and she told me that i have been given 5000 miles as an apology.
I got back to Ireland this morning and found a thank you card from the Concierge in my post . She referenced to our conversation that we had about my family visit in NY and apologized again about the delay.
Overall i cant see how Continental could have handled that better. What an experience . Ah, i sure do love CO

Please be sure to send in an e-mail to We Care at Continental ([email protected]). Just describe her and state she is the BusinessFirst concierge and CO should be able to find out who she is.

50,000 miles or a 400 dollar voucher would be nice. A reroute on ba would be nice as well.
