Does confirmed standby apply to Intl BF?
If I am on an A fare on an early flt from FCO can I do the $25.00 confirmed standby for the later flight on the same day in BF? I'm thinking NO but I figured I'd ask. I like the equipment better on the early flight but I'd like to sleep in and get the later flt if possible.

I don't see why the policy wouldn't apply to BF seats unless the fare rules specifically prohibit it. You might run into more trouble with the inventory being made available, but if you are seeing that it is open making the call to CO to ask that morning certainly wouldn't hurt.

Yes you can use the $25 standby chage if you are within the time window. I recently did this on a LHR-EWR flight booked in A. Make sure you know the rules. The agent I got when I called first wanted to charge me almost $2500 to make the change but then I directed her to the $25 change policy and it was taken care of after she checked with someone else.
