Linking reservations?
Some friends have bought BF tickets for travel to Spain in August. CO will get them to MAD but they want to go to OVD in the north. Only Iberia serves their desired destination. Is there a way to now get co.com to effect the purchase of the Iberia domestic tickets and link them to the existing BF tickets?
Since they must connect at EWR on the way over on a Friday evening, it's possible they could arrive MAD late & not have enough time to clear immigration, change terminals, etc. According to schedules & if flights are on time, they would have 2 hours between flights.
The objective, if able to link, would be that hopefully Iberia would get them on a later flight if necessary without any hassle.

Not after the tickets are bought. If you do this before the CO tickets are bought, they can add on the IB segments and charge you just once. You'll be protected in the event of misconnect, and you'll possibly even get a lower fare, as some of the taxes will be capped out.
Are you within 24 hours of original purchase? If so, you may want to refund the original tickets and start over. Be sure to make sure the original fare is still there before doing this, though.
