CO: Transatlantic Extra Mile Program (+50%)

Enrol in The Extra Mile programme and receive 50% more miles for every eligible fare* you purchase and fly on Continental Airlines between 1 Jan - 31 Dec 2009 for just 99 USD.

*Valid on purchased flights operated and ticketed as Continental Airlines, Continental Express, Continental Micronesia and Continental Connection. Earnings will be valid on all paid travel from 1 Jan 31 Dec 2009, unless member reaches the 15,000 mile maximum before that date. Mileage bonuses are based on actual flight miles posted to your account and do not qualify toward OnePass Elite status.
Hi,
don't know if already a post exists therefore. could not find with search function.. (MOD: thanx for merging thread, if needed)

Does this offer counts only on the TATL flights (i.E. ZRH-EWR) or does the whole routing of the fare (ticket) counts (i.E. ZRH-EWR-IAH-SEA)?

As is understand can this offer be combined with the DEQM offer?

Thx for your answers!

The Extra Mile program is for all flights, not just TATL flights. But I believe it is too late to enroll now.

Welcome to FlyerTalk!!

The Europeans get the sweet deals. $99 for Extra Mile -

And yes, to the OP: take base flight miles, multiply by 2 for DEQM, and multiply by 1.5 for the RDM total you'll earn. Extra Mile miles take about 2 weeks to show in the account. You'll see the normal RDM's post, and then the detail of the Extra Mile miles will show in the statement screen.

I don't see any restriction that this offer is only for EU customers...?

As it's not free of charge (USD99) you have to contact the local OnePass Service Centre.

Offer can be found here: OnePass News & Offers - Airlines

That price is strictly for EU (or at least it's a non-US price) - in the USA there are two levels to the program, priced at 125/175 USD. for 12.5K/17.5K bonus miles, respective. We pay $.01 per RDM, and the EU pays significantly less...I guess it's the deal you have to cut to be the overwater carrier of choice.

Angry

I signed up for this several weeks ago (I am UK-based) for 15k miles @ $99.

Howevr, despite 4 TATLs since (2 in Feb, 2 this month), I have yet to see any additional miles posted.

I'll be patient, but if nothing happens soon, guess I'll have to chase this up?

Does anyone have the code for this? I'm still not sure how it works as I've never heard about it. Can someone explain the details to me.

Thanks,

It's nice when CO will actually try to compete for business.

Google is your friend. The offer, promo code and expiration date are here:Unfortunately, the expiration date was Dec. 31, 2008, which was just before DL hit us with all the garbage fees & we bolted for CO.

So where does one find the details on the "125/175 USD. for 12.5K/17.5K bonus miles" consolation prizes?

1 cent/mile would have been a no-brainer on NW, where I averaged 2 cents/mile or better on redemptions. How are redemptions on CO?

That promo is US-based and expired. The EU folks seem to get access to Extra Mile for longer and for cheaper.
