lounge access at JNB?
I looked around and couldn't find anything recent about this. Flying over on DL in May. Both KL and AF have lounges, but all I see written about them is that only "eligible Sky Team Elite Plus members" are allowed in. Does that mean I have to be flying KL or AF to get into their respective lounges? That's the way it looks on KL's website. Thanks for any feedback. Ed

Seems to be both AF and KLM lounges at JNB, if in BE on DL:

Just flew JNB DKR and Air FRance has a nice lounge. Delta has horrible service in their BUsiness class. Seats are very uncomfortable and the food is not good

In September we flew Delta business class out of JNB. We were invited to use the Air France lounge. Nice lounge but the seats are not very comfortable. Good selection of food, drinks, magazines, and newspapers though. I believe there were also shower facilities.

The Air France lounge in JNB is decent, but it was a bit crowded when I was there and the PCs were erratic.
I had a fairly good experience on DL for ATL-DKR-JNB in B/E, but I fly DL more than CO so perhaps just used to it. Good food (way too much), okay seat. The middle-of-the-night stop in DKR is not pleasant, though... especially since our plane (almost) went mechanical in DKR... fortunately there was a non-rev Delta mechanic on board (sitting in row 1 of B/E) to look at the problem and consult with the operations center in Atlanta... you will never hear me complaining about "too many non-revs" in the business cabin, etc.
