When we were hanging out after introductions, I asked her what she did "I'm an actress." "That's nice. Like in what? Plays? Or are you still studying?" "In a lot of things." (then she got in kind of a ***chy mood) Later, my friend told me that it was Kim Hee-Son / Kim Hee-Seon

That's ok - there probably are no more than a dozen or so active basketball players whom I would recognize if I encountered them in public.

Which summarizes the Thomas years perfectly - better than average talent and has done some nice things for the community, but overall an utterly useless teammate who would have best be characterized as a bum when he showed up and a bum when he finally leaves.

I would think that a lot of famous people would enjoy a conversation like this. Usually they have to deal with all sorts of assumptions people have about them. Here, he could just have a normal conversation with someone, much like he did before he became famous.

I could care less about the Knicks and I've heard of him. Maybe it was from when he was at Tech. I find the OP's comments about Georgia Tech humorous. Georgia Tech is a major school. Who hasn't heard of it? If the OP hadn't heard of Tech either then I wonder what Mr. Marbury would have thought. Whether you can major in Basketball, I don't know.

This is a great story - thanks for sharing with us.^
Celebrities, especially those facing paparazzi all of the time, probably love it when they are not recognized and can be themselves
I saw him play once, but from the seats I had I doubt if I would recognize him either.
