Commending an FA

Does anyone know the procedure to commend an FA for an outstanding job?

A particular FA on recent mid con (a charming man ) in his mid thirties, (in coach) did several water runs, even offered to bring me breakfast after the whole plane had been served because I was sleeping during the service.

Compare this with an FA on similar route back, who forgot to serve me "because I appeared to be working", made one drink run and dissapeared to the back reading a magazine (US Weekly) the whole time.I had to get up from my seat and request water, coffee and gave me a rather annoying look everytime I did that. Also, this FA gave me a fuss when I requested the awful brut (a.k.a fake champagne) , from F using a coupon, whist at the back. Some platinum with 20 kids upgraded ahead of me. The F cabin looked like a pre school, so I was happy to sit at the back.

Simmilar route. Two different FA's. It would delightful to have the first one on a BF flight.

Every time I've filed out a positive comment on of the the postcards, I've gotten a letter or an e-mail thanking me for my remarks. The postcards seem to be taken more seriously than the WeCare line so I think that would be the way to go.

If you fill out a comment card, hand it to the FA directly. If it is a positive comment, then the FA can give it to their supervisor directly.

I would do the WE CARE on line.

There are some great FA sout there and they desire extra credit. WE CARE does not always mean complaining. I believe the end result is the same whether you mail in a card or fill out the form online.

They can be found in the Continental magazine. They are also in our inflight kit, and you can request one from the FA.

See my post above for the link to the online comment card.

But if you're on the plane, you can tear it out of the magazine, fill it out and hand it to the FA.

Once had a COEX FA walk down the aisle after landing thanking everyone for flying Continental.
He had the pax manifest for names:

"Mr. Billiken, thank you for flying Contintal Airlines today."

Top-notch.

They are the heavy card-stock insert at the back of the magazine. I borrowed my seat-mate's magazine on my EWR-POS flight Saturday as I wanted two cards to fill out, one for each of the FAs that did a great job.

I sent an email using the CO website (I think) a while back about good service from an FA in F (JFK-IAH). The funny thing is that I couldn't really say why I thought the service was good. I got a personalized response from a CO rep thanking me.
