Damn! And I still seem to be stuck next to 300lb+ fatties oozing across the armrest on me during full flights.

I must not have the luck.

It seems that whenever I get my elite upgrade to F (domestic of course), the back of the plane is half empty. When I don't get upgraded, it's full. :(

I know some one is going to mess up my lie flat Y seat on my flights to and from the UK in a couple of weeks thinking the "premium" seats are better. Maybe I should just move to the back now.

It sounds ominous for CO--granted it's winter, but still. Does anyone know how EWR/LAX is doing? AA flights are packed.

Olton Hall-the back of the plane on CO is always better. Avoid "premium" seating at all costs unless you really enjoy body contact.

FLL flights are packed to the brim.

There are currently only 40 people on the flight that's two a half weeks away so I'll wait untill the 20 hour point to make my decision on the switch.

We flew YYZ-IAH-FLL on Feb. 16, returning on the same routing on Feb. 20.
Couldn't find seats on EWR-FLL flights and back for our dates, hence the routing via IAH. All four segments were full or oversold (initial flight from YYZ offered us the option of DL through ATL, but we stuck with the original routing). Now I know why FTers bemoan long flights on the E145s. How about three hours fifty five minutes scheduled from YYZ-IAH. The Mrs. and I arrived after sitting on what became the concrete seats for the last two hours of the flight, with aching backs and buns. CO used to have at least two mainline aircraft on the route each day, now it's only the ERJ's. Seeing how full and oversold the flights are, wouldn't it make sense to add at least one mainline flight daily?

The IAH-FLL flights were also totally full, outbound on the B752, and returning on Feb. 20 on the B739.

yeah, you would expect load factor to increase with a decrease in overall availability. light loads after a reduction of seats mean you may need more cuts. For management using LF makes it apples to apples. It's a percentage of seats filled -- and what changes here is the denominator (seats available).

Exactly JetAway!

I was flying KE last week Friday from SFO<->ICN and got the second row in Y on the right hand side all to myself on a very nice 777-200. The AVOD was great and the plane was empty. I bet there were 10 people in A, 5 people in C, and perhaps 60 people in Y.

Really scary for the airlines, but not complaining about a row to myself!

Some flights are empty, but some are obviously full. Month to date is currently 72%. Isn't that close to normal? It was around 60% a couple weeks ago.

I'm guessing Mardi Gras and President's Day have helped.

Terminal C at EWR is empty now

I came thru Checkpoint C1 about 20 mins. ago and there was nobody in line except me. Walking around here it is quiet, very quiet.
I asked the ladies at the checkin desk at the PClub here why it was so quiet. They said it had been busy earlier but now the P CLub is empty also.

No traffic on 78 either and between 8:00 - 8:30 there is always traffic.
