my lil bro got the oversell upgrade to BCN. he wasnt elite, but has quite a bit of SM's due to college travel. she said, "it was because he was such a good DL customer."
when he told the agent he was traveling with his friends, they upgraded the entire group. four or five total. all under 21 too. he said it was a great flight. none of them were carded.

MSY gets everything. just depends on time of year. i believe CO's is MSY's second largest carrier (depending on LUV's schedule). lots of flights per day.
ive flown every AC type except the 777 in and out of MSY. 764 and 762 were due to IROPS. 757 is pretty common.
the worst route is IAH-MIA. ive never flown it on anything but a 735.

EWR-MSY is 735, 733, and ERJ through EOS.
We fly EWR-IAH-MSY and back for the EQM's and EQP's since the mileage difference is the difference between Silver and Plat for 20 RT's. I can't tell you how delighted we are with the CO decision to keep the 500 mile minimum for elites since it's over 700 Miles RT for each of us.
We were on a 738 (16 F) EWR-IAH this AM and there were 54 on the Upgrade Standby List plus 5 EUA's. IAH-MSY was better with 15 upgraded and 17 left on the list.
