EWR - LAS on 12/29/08

Looking to fly EWR to LAS in paid F on 12/29/08 , returning on 01/03/09.
My question is will CO add additional flights to the schedule or is it pretty much set as is?
Not sure if I should buy tickets now or hold out to see if the schedule changes.I would prefer to take a 4pm ish flight EWR to LAS.
Thank you in advance.

What difference does it make? If you buy paid F you can change your flight at will. CO has not, to my knowledge, reduced any capacity into Las Vegas, whereas most other airlines have or will meaningfully cut back. Whether this strategy works and CO gains share remains to be seen; they could certainly reverse course and cut back, which would likely result in a re-jiggering of schedules.

What reason do you have to expect schedule changes?

I think the OP means it is New Years week. New Years is a big event in LAS. Christmas is not. The question is on extra flights to accommodate large number of passengers.

Not sure. CO could up the aircraft type. Some destinations are slow over the holiday week, others are busier.

I've never seen a nonrefundable domestic R fare on CO. For sure, the R fare on EWR-LAS in December/January is fully refundable.

I'm pretty sure I saw a non-refundable R fare when I was looking at flights to Florida a few days ago...
