Help on Partner EQP's
Is it possible to receive EQP's when you fly a partner. Specifically, I flew NW-IAH to RAP---intentionally purchased NW Q fare class tickets as I thought that's what I needed to do to receive EQM's and EQP's for the segments. But alas, when they posted to my OnePass account, I only received the miles, no points. Where did I go wrong?

I booked it on NWA.com as NW Q fare. Couldn't book on CO.com to get all the way to RAP. Turns out (much to my surprise), the first segment was on CO metal. Does that make a difference?

Well if the first segment was a CO flight number on CO metal and you booked it on NW in Q then it would be zero EQP. That said, if either segment was a NW flight number (regardless of carrier) it should earn 1 EQP in Q. I would call the OPSC.....

Yup. If you were on CO metal on a Q fare, you won't get the points... no matter how/where it's booked. I didn't recognize this & had the issue a few times last year. I needed to go IAH-FSM and couldn't get there with CO. I flew (CO) IAH-MEM and (NW) MEM-FSM. After 2 trips, I contacted CO and was told I wouldn't get the points b/c it was a Q fare on CO metal, while it was booked through NW. Very confusing and annoying, but oh well, there are worse things in life, I guess.

Yep, it was a NW flight with a NW flight number, so I'll give OPSC a call. Thanks.

Perhaps there ARE worse things in life, but I was on track to hit Platinum with points---now it's gonna be close. I see a MR or two in my future to make up for this little error in judgment. Note to self---don't fly Partners. The rules are too tough for my feeble brain.
