It appears CO will begin to block out all of the bulkhead seats as well as 14A/F on all 733, 735, and 73Gs. Take a look at some of the seat maps on the preview site and compare them to the regular co.com site.

Just tried various 735's
on EWR-ORD on 9/8 and return 9/12. They showed blue (open) seats as before for this Gold.
Edited to add that I tried this on regular not preview site ...sorry.

I used to think it sucked if I priced a Y fare but still can't pick exit rows as a non-elite; blocking those seats even from elites is even worse.

Also, I am seeing these seats as greyed out even after being signed in and viewing current reservations so it doesn't seem like the same problem we had the last time.

Probably a bug with the preview site. I can't see why they would ever block those seats. These birds don't fly far enough to need crew rest, and I somehow doubt they'd block an exit row seat for handicapped passengers

I sent in a report to co.com support in case you are right. One thing I did notice is that all of the seats that have the jagged line in front of them (ie. seats not directly in front of them) are the ones that are greyed out.

This also happened a while back, but was fixed relatively quickly. Back then you could choose said exit row seats if you were buying a ticket and got to that screen. And no, not writing about someone posting this (which they did), but actually did it.

Somewhat related issue...
On the currently active public Continental.com site.
Went to select seats for a purchased reservation. No problem getting exit rows on the 737-800 segments.
Then try to select 14F on a 735. It shows available and lets me click on it, but when the screen goes back to the reservation the assignment won't stick. The others are fine.
Called co.com support and after some waiting and reading off the exit row responsibilitie the agent was able to get it assigned.
Strange.

Thanks OPFlyer, this is a great example of why we have the preview program. The issue has been identified thanks to several of you sending this in, and it should be resolved in time for our full release later this week. Crisis averted!
