And on the Up Side...
I flew RT on miles IAH to CDG via EWR with miles in Econ. This is a rarity. The only time I am not in BF is with Miles reward on family vacation though I do normaly clock 130+ EQM miles with CO/yr.
To my complete surprise myself and my 4 yr old were upgrade to BF on CO 55 CDG-EWR. I did not even think it was possible to get upgraded econ to BF Intl much less flying on free tix for myself and companion (wife and other daughter were on another flight - long story).
Thanks CO and thanks for the flight crew for entertaining my daughter while I slept a few hours. She was having too much fun in the big seats to sleep.
