For an award ticket??? That doesn't make sense...u sure about that?

It's all in the fare rules.

Oh, not an award ticket. I though the conversation drifted.

This got me thinking, how do you find the rules for an itinerary that has already been purchased? I just mucked around on co.com and couldn't find them. I was able to find them when pricing out a new itinerary, but was lost in "My account."

You can only see the fare rules on the booking page. You can try to recreate your itinerary with your fare codes.

Always print and save (of PDF or copy/paste) the fare rules for every flight that you purchase. That way you never run into the situation of not being able to know what you bought.

The award redeposit fee of $150 hurts the most and also the close in fee ($75). Last year I changed my international award ticket twice since it was only $35, but I can no longer afford to do it.

On a domestic award ticket (25000 miles), it almost makes sense to forgo the miles if there is a need to redeposit.

I am going to slowly migrate to WN as I am unable to get decent award availability on international travel anyway on CO.
