Would you be gambling on getting an EUA (as opposed to buying F)?

I doubt we will see such an event next year (pure speculation on my part, of course).

That's one thing I did NOT gamble on. Bought a Y elite upgrade fare going to LAS and then used miles to confirm the upgrade coming back.

Some things are better not left to chance.

Definitely not a good gamble --planning on a EUA on a flight to LAS is like planning on getting an Ace when you're holding 2 ten's in a game of blackjack.

It cost $1,260, but I confirmed a seat in F at the time of purchase.

For those of you going, please let the rest of us know if the new BF seat makes an appearance at the CO honcho sessions.

That's too bad. Hopefully, it's a success and they would want to duplicate it. It's just bas timing for me.

Just bid on the auction and I am coming.
I have never done CO auction before. Are they sending me the document over the email or I just need to show up at Golden Nugget?
Lookng forwards to a good time in Las Vegas.

Given that participation is contingent on reserving the hotel package, I would really like to have some evidence that I am registered properly for the event and there are no problems. It would be pretty bad to show up for the tournament and only discover problems at that time.

Are there any plans to send out such confirmations, or can you direct those of us participating to someone we can contact who has access to the participant list?

Thanks, Andrew
Hi goldmind, a confirmation email with an updated agenda will be sent later this week to all confirmed registrants.

For 1/10th of "my" winnings, can CO Insider play poker for me?

(and is Scott's +1 his wife or a CO staffer? )
Hi Weatherboy, thanks for the almost generous offer, but I'll respect the rules. Believe me, you're probably better off that way. As for my +1, my wife will be with me. She actually ponied up and will be playing!

Hi wtshef, I don't believe we're going to have that information in advance of the tournament. Sorry.

Bad News:

Scott, I'm afraid I've got some bad news: it looks like I'll be staying till Sunday now!

Another idea that I think would be garner interest (albeit maybe only that of a FT'er) would be to showcase the mockups of the new J seats sometime during the tournament. Obviously I realize theses things are a) not cheap b) a pain to move c) may already be somewhere else...like getting installed...but if the logistics work out, I think it'd be something to see them in person!

Looks that they are plenty of slots still left for the tourney and I won't be participating unless they lower the auction 50k miles as I don't have a chase card. Perhaps they will get desperate and lower the mileage requirement.

Hi Everyone, I’ve added the details for our OnePass Mini Slot tournament to my original post. The OnePass Mini Slot tournament will be held on Sat. August 9th. Registration will be from 11am to 12n by the Golden Nugget staff in the Slot Tournament area on the casino floor (no advance RSVP required), and the Tournament itself will begin at 12n. Entry will be free for all OnePass members (even those not in the Poker Tournament) and guests. Prizes up to 70,000 OnePass miles will be awarded. See you there!
