lounge access YVR

would a passenger travelling YVR-IAH in F be allowed access to the Alaskan Airlines lounge?

I would imagine yes based on the Presidents Club access chart (if I translate BF as International F) but wanted to confirm

Thanks in advance for your help

The answer to your question is yes. I recently (April) flew 1st out of Vancouver, and was given access to Alaska's Board Room. It's a small lounge, but comfortable. It's located just down the short ramp past security in the US precleared wing of the terminal.

You could also access AC's Maple Leaf lounge, located in the USA departures, just prior to the Tim Hortons, it's on the right and you sort of have to look for the doors.

Maple Leaf lounge in the YVR US departures terminal is quite nice. I remember a very nice continental breakfast selection while traveling through there a while back. Much better than some other lounge experiences I've had before.

Thanks to the OP for asking the question, because I have the same one, except I am traveling in Y. Is there a lounge I can access as *A Gold?

In the past, yes. I was upgraded to F on the morning CO departure to IAH and was told I could use the AS Board Room at YVR, which I did. By the way, I was also told no alcohol can be served in the BR until midmorning (9 or 10am, I think) so that champagne or Bloody Mary will have to wait.....

But I'm not sure about now as CO and AS/QX have gone their separate ways with the advent of CO's inclusion in the *A followed by subsequent developments.....

You can access AC's Maple Leaf Lounge. Does not make any difference what the class is, *Gold and flying internationally.
