Grocery Program - Minor Degradation of Program ?
I have a Randall's Grocery Card linked to my OnePass account - 125 miles for every $250
Thankfully, my family has had little need of prescriptions. However, my wife needed a couple of antibiotics today so I got them filled at the local Randall's. I noticed that the Rxs did not show up as credit toward the OnePass miles (it is printed on the receipt). My regular grocery order today (different cash register) rang up fine, with the credit shown.
It has been a while since I've had an Rx filled (maybe a year or more) but I could swear that they used to give credit for prescriptions. So it seems to be a minor downgrading of the program - not significant either way except as an example of how things are being squeezed.

I don't remember prescriptions (or Liquor, Tobacco, US Postage Stamps, Fluid Milk, Bus/Commuter Passes, Fishing/Game Licenses, Ski Tickets, Lottery Tickets, Gift Certificate sales) ever earning miles with Randalls - could be mistaken.

It's been awhile that they don't automatically give you credit for miles for prescriptions. As someone who has (too) many scrips, I noticed this right away. If you call Randalls customer service at 1.877.723.3929, they will add the the dollars that you spend at the pharmacy to your total.
