Transfer of points
My friend is trying to cash in about 50K on Continental...but their website is adamant about not transferring miles. My friend accrued most of the points from a Chase credit card..but she only recently became aware that they were sending the points to her husband's FF #...even though he never uses the card. He's the cardholder and she is considered a "user". How can she get the points transferred to her account?

Does she want to get the points that are already in the hubby's OnePass account moved over or change where Chase is putting them?
For the former, she can do it if she pays (a lot - $7.50/500 miles) or she can just redeem a reward out of that account in her name.
For the latter she'll have to deal with Chase, and I cannot imagine that going well.

On the other hand, tickets from the husband's OP account can be used to redeem awards for anybody. Your friend, you, me, etc...

Yea that is what I was thinking, but she has points in her account and she needs some of those credit card points from her husband to get to the 50k she is seeking.

I don't think she can. It's quite clear with most affinity credit card programs, including the CO Chase one, that miles for purchases on all cards on the account go to the primary cardholder's account, and not to each cardholder individually. So, what you're trying to do is not to get an error corrected, but get a special waiver of the rules. I don't think it's gonna happen. I think the only option is to pay for the points transfer.
Also, what does she need the 50K for? If it's for 2 domestic tickets, consider redeeming one ticket from each OnePass account. That might make the amount of points that need to be transferred less.
I'm sorry to hear about the situation. I know it must be frustrating and disappointing, but I really don't see her having a remedy outside the normal rules in this case.
