iPod and Continental
A year or more ago, I read an Apple press release that indicated they would be teaming up with Air France, Continental, Delta, Emirates, KLM and United to enable iPod charging and viewing (on the seat-back screens) during flights, starting in late 2007. I haven't yet seen this feature on Continental flights. Does it exist and I just have yet to notice and/or be on the right flights? Or, did this not happen?

Never happened. And in the latest couple rounds of announcements about retrofits of IFE systems there has been no indication that it will happen. Don't bet on it showing up anytime soon...

Thanks for the info. I wonder why the plan was scrapped...

These guys have a product that supposedly powers your ipod using the plane's audio jack.
