Thumbs down Beat this for a series of problems

So, I have taken or attempted to take five trips with Continental this year. I am waiting for latest, novel problem to befall. I am going to book at least one more trip to see what happens next! Here's what's happened.

Trip to New Orleans
I got an EAU to FC but wasn't moved into the front cabin.

Trip to Zurich
I managed to nab a seat, both over and back, with faulty video. I shouldn't gloat, since it's pretty easy to have this problem!!

Trip to Zurich
For some reason, on the domestic leg of the return trip didn't appear on the itinerary. I had to push to have the problem solved--I wanted to make sure I was high up in the pecking order for an EAU, but I forgot that CO doesn't upgrade to/from LAX anymore!

Trip to Newark
Cancelations happen. (I also had a similar problem twice last year) But, since irritations are cumulative, the problem deserves inclusion here. I got a call at close to midnight on Saturday that the early morning Sunday B757 flight to EWR was postponed. I now had a middle seat on a B738 at 4 p.m. Since I had a full fare, I canceled for a refund and took a redeye on AA--as always, I got the upgrade on AA!

Trip to Zurich
On this one, I got an upgrade to first on the domestic leg of the return trip. The GA confessed a mistake occurred and that I would now have to seat in coach. I made sure to get my exit row seat again. She was sorry; I was sorry; we're all sorry, but the problem persists!

I am now at 71,109 miles, so I won't have to tolerate CO much more this year. I am disappointed that Continental is, systematically, turning me, an erstwhile raving fan, into a critic!

Habit. I have been with CO since '93. However, in the past two years, I have migrated most travel over to AA and DL. CO gets the leftovers.

I like the employees too. I am beginning to wonder if CO needs to EAU its management!

Me, too. I used to be a Continental evangelist, but the systematic problems have turned me into a naysayer.

It's too bad, too. I really don't like to complain or be bitter, but it is hard to resist sometimes.

May God bless and keep you.
