Early Upgrade Notification
I am a silver elite yet received an upgrade notification 6 days before my flight. No complaints here but how is this possible?

Were you trying to use miles or waitlisting for an international upgrade? Either one of those situations could have you clearing early.

Nope. It is a regular domestic (non Y fare) flight from IAH to MIA
