same day confirmed stand by question
ok.... Im in F, up'd from S class. Id like to leave on the 9am flight connecting with my original in IAH (eliminating my 3 hour layover).
If I pay the fee and CO is able to confirm me into S on the new flight, will they also confirm me in F, if F is available, being that I was in F on my prior flight? or, will i just have to wait for the 3 hour or airport EUA to run?
thanks

If it was Me before I would switch flights, I would call up CO and find out what the load is like on the 9:30am and if the type of seat you want is available in Coach.
I would rather put up with the 3 hr layover if my 1st flight is a long one and all that is left are Middle Seats, especially if I was already confirmed with an Up to FC.
the only time I would grab a middle seat is if Im on my last flight of the day, so that I can settle in alot earlier, or its a Bump situation and the VDB is high enough that it pays to sit in that Middle seat
