Terminal D/E parking (IAH)
I parked at terminal E last time I was at IAH and walked to the entry way that goes to the security checkpoint between E and C. To do this I had to walk through a separate parking garage (roped off from E). When I left I asked the attendant at the pay station what garage that was and she told me D. Is she correct?

Yeah, sort of. It's really an extension of the C garage that was built 10-15 years ago. At the time it kind of connected to the old D surface lot, which had an underground tunnel connection to D and the underground train (that still exists; it's just now incorporated into the E tunnel connection to D and the underground train). Since E and the new E garage were built, a circular ramp to access the garage in question was built. You can get to it if you follow the signs to D, and then go up the ramp right before the D access road merges back into the main roadway. You can also get to that garage from the C garage, as the levels are all connected. And you can get there from the E garage ramp if you exit onto any of the odd numbered floors.

I was on level 3 which was the same as the entrance to the security point and saw the gates that have the counters attached to them. I'll just go through those on Sunday.
