You spend too much time on FT if you have been seeing that and wondering what the seating arrangement is and if it has had the AVOD update.

BTW - that's the new MLB homerun record that Barry Bonds reached.

It's now 757, brought to you by Boeing.

Because I saw 756 as a post heading on another board, and immediately thought it was a question that I would see here on Flyer Talk - Continental board (which I visit regularly).

So for the interruption. Let's go back to talking about upgrade possibilities for a Silver flying X fare from EWR-SFO on a Monday morning.

I've seen bad FT jokes, but this may take the cake. To boot, the thread is terribly named.

Actually, 756 is a designation that NW uses for their 757's with the overwing exit configuration. You can see it on the NW website or at SeatGuru.

Far better than the 755 with the 4-doors-on a side, IMO.

We now return you to your regular Continental programing (since there is no IFE on NW domestic).

An impressive feat, yes, but the use of performance-enhancing anabolic steroids (among other legal and illegal substances) most certainly influenced Bonds' progress. One can only speculate what his total would be sans-sauce.

Regardless, being able to hit a baseball nearly 400 feet, traveling at 90+mph (not to mention breaking, curving, or hung who-knows-where), with a long wooden object a few inches in diameter, on such a consistent basis is a tremendous skill. He does deserve credit for this, steroids or not.

As far as 756, with Continental, this is an informal abbreviation referring to the cross-qualification between pilots on their 757/767 fleet.
