I am back from my week long conference in MCO. I apparently am recognized nationally, which is really cool. Both of my flights were delayed due to mechanical problems. I was so worried about getting home that I made a provisional reservation in order to lower my blood pressure.

So, I met a young attorney through a friend of a friend. She was on my flight going to MCO last Sunday. During the week, we became friends (although she knows about the lovely Lisa) and realized that she was on the same flight home.
Today, we arrived at the airport, and I had her come to the window so we could merge record locators. I got her luggage fees waived and got her row 9 on 757 (I was up front). Then, we went through security -- among the decisions made -- Me: "no, not that line because the guy has 2 bottles of water in his carry on bag; I can just tell" Young attorney had not seen "Up in the Air"... Nonetheless, I feel like George Clooney tonight! :D |
