To take something in teh main forums here, I don't know this passengers exact case, but there are WAY too many people that claim disability these days that have none at all. What I really don't like to see are people making light of mental illness. People being insensitive to mental illness. Or people being complete a$$holes about mental illness. Mental illnesses can be devastating, and of course, being a psychologist, I suppose I am perhaps a tad more sensitive about people being so dismissive of mental illness. |

Does AA offer the option to buy bonus miles on flights (e.g. $50 for 2x miles on a DFW-LGA trip)? UA has something akin to this. I can't find anything comparable from AA right now.

We'd all like to think that we'd behave rationally and handle an evac in a sensible manner. Looking at history and what actually happens in those events, however, it is clear that such is much less common than folks would like to believe. Someone stating that they'd be OK in an exit row because their spouse would deal with the kids is lying to themselves. I did like the way 5 different people assumed that I didn't bother reading the post. That was fun. |
