Okay, I am back. The last few days have produced a lot of drama. Everything came to a head when Trustguy's dad passed away yesterday at age 81. Today we made the funeral decisions and I am feeling a bit better.

My condolences to you and your family. It is memories like the ones you described that will make the mourning period just a bit easier; enough to know that they did lead a full life, even if it ended too soon.

Got up early for my flight back home from MIA this morn.....went to check flight status and realized that I fly out from PBI! ....I seriously have no recollection of booking it that way. I was this close to heading to the wrong airport.

On the up side.....have an extra couple hours to kill rather than drive down South again. :)

anyway, i was glad to get out the NYers are down already for the super bowl, and it is worse than normal driving there! Of course having the toll roads nearly closed due to 7 years of construction doesn't do any good either.

I have to start working on my personal statement for grad school today. I haven't done one of these since 2001, and this one is a smidge more important than that one was. Anyone have any suggestions?
