I noticed that listing. You could always repaint it with a passport and a question mark on the tail.

as long as t-e-h--a-w-e-s-o-m-e will fit on the side I am ok with that.

One of the CO 735's for sale got its registration cancelled and parked in a Bermuda-based offshore holding. Must be some kind of tax loophole for CO.

I found the listing agent for the 735's that CO has for sale, and he is the same guy representing some WN 733's.

Why a tax loophole? they have turned it over to the agent for sale, it is essentially the agent's property now, they will get a share when it sells.

Nope. Just grabbed some Dunkin' on my way up to Coral Springs. Wasn't sure if I'd have time or not. In retrospect, I had more than enough.

I'll be back down here soon though.

I have never tried that diner, despite being down here 2-3x per year and staying either in the Marriott or the Westin on the other side of I-95. I'm usually provided with breakfast, but may have to try the diner anyway, especially if I'm taking an early flight home.

I'm told someone on F:rolleyes:x was telling watchers not to donate to the Red Cross because they would end up on Obama's mailing list for donations.

Same site, 737 page. The listings without pics are the WN and CO ones. They also have a DL 732.

Not good. I haz LH 744 scheduled for today. At least I have a 02:45 connection buffer in FRA (and hopefully some tailwinds, too).

Saw Bermuda, made something of an assumption. Unless the agent owns the aircraft it is still CO property, no?

Good morning. It looks like it will be another warm day here. Rain is coming, though...

I can think of better reasons to withhold donations to the Red Cross than political mailers with which one might disagree. A really good reason to do so would be their unacceptably high overhead. I remember reading something a few years ago that only ~.12 of every dollar ended up going toward the cause du jour.

Rain in LA? Hallelujah, it's raining panicky news reports.

You should come to SEA.

I did not know that. If that is still true today, that would outwardly appear pretty disappointing. Would have to see the methodology behind that calculation, though. A charity as large as the red cross, with lots of hard infrastructure in place (vehicles, buildings, personnel, etc.), with such an expansive international reach, could be expected to have a substantial overhead. If the contribution of those elements of the organization aren't counted towards the ultimate $$$ funneled to whatever situation currently demands it, that could seriously skew the statistics.

Not exactly, in many ways it is a grey area just like a clothing resell shop. Once you turn it over to them to take a cut once it sales, insurance wise and otherwise, it is theirs. There is a way you can reclaim it after X time not selling, but otherwise it is their property during the time it is 'listed' or 'in the store'
