AFAIK, Y->PE, or PE->J only. However, BD's PE can be had at about $1K when it's on sale (ex-ORD). Not a bad price for a biz ticket. Additionally, Y->PE will be worthwhile once the new PE cabin gets installed, as it should be nicer than VS (and perhaps nicer than EVA Air's Elite Class).

Is it easy to combine fare classes on BD - for example, purchase a Y ticket and use an SWU for PE on the outbound, then purchase a PE ticket and use an SWU for J on the return - and still get a low fare for each segment?

I love how your handle is so long that it skews the way the FT Forum Pages load when you make a post :D.

On a wholly separate non-sequitur, I just accidentally ordered an Anheuser Busch product, and it's not horrible . Am at the Flying Saucer (trying to Drunk Post, of course, per the spirit of the thread), and ordered a Redbridge Ale. It's made without wheat or barley, from sorghum, and it's actually quite tasty. Why can't A.B. make the rest of their beers palatable?

I've received many compliments on my long handle... Being "Large Clawed", I'm sure you can relate... :D

I didn't realize there was a Flying Saucer in Houston, I've only been to the one in Fort Worth... don't remember what I had, but probably a honey wheat or something similar...

Keeping with the ** posting of this thread (it's 12:40a.m. here in the Bayou City), I have a strict no Honey Wheat policy with my cold ones....don't mess with what ain't broken, I always say!!

No Honey Wheat - as in, a specific type of beer - or, neither beers containing honey, nor wheat beers? Granted, some wheat beers are nearly as foul as most of the swill put out by A.B. and Miller. However, there are some exceedingly fine ones as well. It's hard to beat a Hefe-Weiss fresh from a wooden keg at the Augustiner Dom in München.

After visiting Austria back in January, I must say that Doppelmalz is one of my new favorite beers. Unfortunately, neither the Flying Saucer nor Spec's Downtown carries Kaiser Doppelmalz.

I'd also kill to be able to get Gösser Zwickl (mit naturalischer trubung!) or anything brewed up by the monks at the Augustiner Bräu in Salzburg here in Houston. The monks will sell by the Keg...it's just getting it back to Houston that's the tricky part :D

You really ought to try some beer from the Great Lakes Brewing Co. in Cleveland. It's one of the best microbrews in the country, but very difficult to find outside Ohio, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. The bar with 600 beers around the corner from my home in DC doesn't even carry it. Fortunately, I'm having a case delivered to me today.

The Brickskeller (http://www.lovethebeer.com/) supposedly is in the Guiness Book of World Records for having the largest selection of beers of any bar in the world.

Sitting in the SK lounge in OSL on my way to DUB, after two beers and on my second G&T I felt compelled to post :)

Although I'm having real trouble tying this post to anything CO.....

Then you definitely posted in the right place. I'm still waiting for coffee to kick in, and bemoaning a painfully slow internet connection at work. DUB for work or pleasure?

Meeting up with 5 home-town buddies for a 3day boys-weekend. Should be good

I did not want to post this in the other thread, but I find it very hard to find sympathy for toddlers on planes.

Why can't people seem to raise their children right? I know it's possible as I've had the pleasure of meeting several who behave excellently.
