Can we get into the club? I thought it was only for Acela F and sleeping car guests and Amtrak Select Plus members. I'll bring my P-Club card down just in case.

So, after being told that I would be contacted by the end of the week, and the hearing nothing, and having no response to the e-mail I sent yesterday afternoon, what's a dood to think? Sigh.

Back to the drawing board, I guess.

Morning, Box.

Mornin' box. Fixing to head to DC shortly, but i'll be trailing behind the rest of the crowd. It's been a crazy week and I just couldn't get myself out of bed too early this morning.

I get into Union Station at about 2:30pm so if someone could let me know where to catch up with all of you, i can just meet you there.

I hope you guys have fun in DC today. I am stuck working today. :(

On the train and just picked up my first drink - rum and ginger ale this morning.

AFAIK, PClub members can access the Club Acela in DC, but your mileage may vary.

ITA says DL DCA-JFK is available for $109 all day Sunday. There's also an 8:30 am IAD-LGA on UA for $78 (on an A320), but then you have to get out to IAD early.

I will be waving at your train as it goes by; taking the family to an 11:30 am concert near 30th St. Station.

That sounds really good.

P Club members can get in. If they ask what train you are taking, you can either tell them that you just arrived or that you are taking a later train.

Good to see that you're getting an early start. Save room for some of the 9.5% beer we will be drinking before the tour starts.

All NE corridor trains are reserved. You're supposed to take your ticket to the ticket sales window at Trenton and have it changed prior to getting on the train...

I've never been turned away from any Club Acela when trying to enter with my PC card.

Thanks! I've tried drinking the mineral water a couple of times and it's just not for me. Bathing in it sounds ok though.:D

No, but my hat was strategically dipped below one eye.;) When I make it to the actual races, I rarely even bet except for a couple of dollars on the horse with the prettiest name.:o
