I just realized that I am on the blue hair express on the way back from Vegas - the late morning 753 next Monday morning that looks like it is going to be packed. Should be interesting with a hangover - I am usually taking the evening flight back after a long day tossing chips.

Sorry I've been absent. I broke my HDD on the computer at the start of the week and just today got it significantly running. Big thanks to T:rolleyes:shiba for providing a backup/restore disk that doesn't work. Oddly, there was a vista upgrade disk in the box and it was able to do a full install on a bare HDD on the second try. And, if the computer wasn't beastly enough to begin with, I've now got 320gb (up from 120) to go along with the externals (700gb; one is a dedicated archive) In other news--I had a second interview for a (real) job a week ago, and they've told me they'd like to talk Monday with an offer.:D:D:D And the +1 found out why her temp-->ft hiring is taking so long; it should speed up fairly soon. In a month, our income should be triple what it is currently.:D Did I miss anything new in the box? |
